Pre-wedding
photography is now a big trend in India amongst the middle and upper-middle-class
couples. It allows you to record for posterity the beautiful memories you have
on the run-up to the D-Day (wedding day). If you are rich and famous and have
the resources, then you can hire the topwedding photographer in India to make you an amazing wedding album.
However, if you are on a limited budget, then all you need to do is follow some
basic steps and you can have amazing photos even if you have not hired the best wedding photographer in Delhi. In
this blog, we have shared with you some important points you must remember when
you are looking for an outdoor pre-wedding photoshoot so that not only you get
the best experience but also has a great album to share with your family and
friends.
1).
Pick a location far away from the
crowd: It is very important
that you pick a location that is a bit secluded. If you ask any photographer
about what is the single biggest problem they face when they are doing any
outdoor shooting, most of them will say it is people who intentionally or
unintentionally jut into the frame. Most great -looking outdoor locations which
are favourite of pre-wedding photographers and their clients are also favourite
for the tourists. You cannot just book a place and vacate it. Therefore, you must
time your photoshoot (early in the morning) in such a way that the place is
less crowded and you can find a secluded spot where to conduct the pre-wedding
photoshoot. Additionally, we suggest that you should look beyond the popular
locations near your house and try to find some virgin spots which are not
spoilt by crass commercialisation.
2). Find a photographer with good experience:When you are hiring a
photographer to conduct the pre-wedding photoshoot, then you must research his
work carefully. You should first look at a reputable candid wedding photographer in Delhi who has the experience in shooting outdoors.
There are many photographers who have a huge reputation in the market, but they
have very little experience in outdoor photography. You need to understand that
outdoor photography under natural light is completely different from indoor
photography where the amount of light is controlled.
3). Find out about the weather: This is
a no-brainer that you need to know in advance the weather on the day the
pre-wedding photoshoot will take place (if it is an outdoor shooting). Make
sure to check the weather bulletin to find out if there is any impending rain
or storm on that day. If it is a monsoon season, then you must take extra care
to find the right date when you will find a cloudless sky for a great
photoshoot.
4). When to shoot: Just like on what
day to show is important, so is at what time to shoot. If you are shooting
indoors, then the timing is not so important as you can adjust the light
setting as per your requirements. However, if you are shooting outdoors, then
it is important that you start shooting during early morning hours or during
the evening hours to capture the golden light (which is the best time to shoot
amazing pictures). Additionally, if you want to capture the sunrise or sunset,
then you have to go early in the morning or in the evening so that you can
capture some of the best photos with the soft sunlight. Furthermore, if you
want to take some night shots, then you must find out when there will be a full
moon so that you can get a romantic shot under the star
studded sky.
These are some of the
important points that you must keep in mind when you are going in for an
outdoor shoot. It will allow you to get amazing photos for your wedding photo
album which will involve the viewers.
